We have been involved in a large number of significant real estate and business transactions Р(of course, every transaction is significant to each of our clients who are involved in it).  The following is a list of some:


A Section 1031 Exchange of over $5 Million for two related parties (a family limited partnership and a trust), holding title to two investment properties as tenants-in-common;

Structuring a multi-million dollar partnership transaction involving the sale and subsequent acquisition of dairy farm assets, including thousands of dairy cows and feed;

An exchange of a Washington, D.C. condominium for investment property on Vashon Island, Washington, for an American Charg√© D’Affairs with the rank of Ambassador assigned to the U.S. Embassy in a South Pacific Island nation;

Drafting of a Tenancy-in-Common Agreement between our client and his out-of-state siblings to provide an effective and efficient means of holding title to waterfront property on Puget Sound, and to ensure a smooth mechanism for making determinations with regard to its disposition;

Formation of entities to hold title to large real estate assets on behalf of our builder/developer client so that he can protect them in the event of default on certain loan obligations;


Drafting of a special purpose Delaware Series LLC on behalf of 5 siblings, engaged in litigation between themselves and each represented by independent counsel, to effectuate a settlement agreement and to minimize capital gains taxation attendant with the ultimate disposition of various real estate assets;

Representation of a local church to successfully dispute a change in real property tax assessment against it;


Preparing borrower’s counsel opinion letter, creation of single purpose, bankruptcy remote entity, and accommodating 1031 exchange for client acquiring $7 Million commercial property in south King County, Washington.
